Barber Business Cards

I'm a grown man with over 40 years of time under my belt, and it wasn't until just last week that I finally got my first shave from a professional barbershop. They were running a special that week and I simply had to take advantage of it. For only $5.00, I tired the works. First, I had my haircut. Then they brought me to another barber's chair where I leaned back and had my face covered with hot towels. They left those hot towels sitting on my face for about five minutes. Apparently, this serves two purposes. The first is to soften the hair on your face. An added bonus is of that it completely relaxes you. Once that you are good and relaxed, it's time to get started. They remove the hot towels and apply a generous helping of shaving cream. This isn't your garden to variety shaving cream though, No, this is the good stuff. They lather you up real good and then it's time to bring out the blade. They always use a brand new razor sharp straight edge. This is to prevent the spread of communicable diseases, just like when tattoo shops use a fresh needle.

They start at your sideburns and slowly but surely start to remove the coarse facial hair. Then they work their way down the jaw line and then repeat the process on the other side. Then they move to the mustache area. Finally, after that, they finish up with the chin and then the neck area. The whole process takes about a half of an hour. They can't afford to rush themselves. After all, it would only take one slip of the wrist, and you would be bleeding to death from your jugular vein.

Once that they have completed the shave, they'll apply some sort of tonic that smells like cloves mixed in oil. The entire experience is quite exhilarating. I imagine that is much the way women feel after leaving a spa. The normal price for this service is usually $20.00. And in the future of proto we won't be able to afford it again. But if I ever find a deal like this one, I'll be sure to enjoy the experience again and again.

Which onsite not from my chair, I felt amazingly refreshed. A fresh haircut, and a fresh shave (which by the way, was the closest that I've ever had) left me feeling alive and confident. After paying my bill, I grabbed a large stack of his barber business cards which were on display near the cash register. All of my friends would definitely want to know about these place and the great deals that they offered, not just for shaves but for the haircuts and other services as well. It was most certainly the best bargain in town. I hate at the door ready to take on the world. I sure will be sad the next time I have to use my old dull razor again.
