When you were just starting out, you were a little nervous about your business cards. You wanted to impress without being showy and you didn't have much money. Your first two or three designs may have been a little austere and color was used sparingly.
Now, things have changed. You're experienced; confident about the product or service you offer and ready to attract a whole new level of clientele. It's time to go for it – full color business cards.
But what colors and where? If you don't know Century Gothic from Sans Serif, or three-color design from four-color, don't despair. Internet templates offer you four-color printing (called CMYK) and as much personal choice as you want in a number of attractive, balanced formats.
Try out muted greens and blues with a plain font and your information front and center. Switch to splashes of primary colors, a "wow!" font and your facts in all four corners. Go wild with bright abstract shapes or keep it cool with one or two well-placed color blocks.
No matter what colors you choose or how you arrange them, the bottom line is to make your business look good. Full color business cards say, "We're the best."
